Starting Monday, June 5, the city of Allen will begin hosting a FREE weekly outdoor concert series. The Summer Sounds Concert Series is a collaboration between the city and the Parks And Recreation department. Four different concerts will be held at the Joe Farmer Recreation Center amphitheater, with each night providing a different theme. The concert will provide a variety of different styles, and offer both classical and contemporary fare. The first performance of the Summer Sounds Concert Series is with Downtown Fever. In addition to discussing the facts of Child’s life, Hudgins will share personal anecdotes about meeting her as well. The event is free to attend, and there is no registration required.
