On Saturday, October 15, the city of Allen will host a special Family Night at the Joe Farmer Recreation Center. For this Family Night, you can all enjoy a night out under the stars. Families are invited to camp out, and enjoy picnics, activities, and games. In addition to these activities, there will be a special movie screening that takes place at dusk. The movie will be showed at the amphitheater. This all-ages event encourages families to enjoy a day filled with nature and fun.
When:
The event will take place on Saturday, October 15, and it will run from 3 pm until 9 am Sunday, October 16.
Where:
Those attending Family Night should meet at the Joe Farmer Recreation Center, located at 1201 E Bethany, Allen, TX 75002.
Cost:
There is a registration cost of $10 per person to attend this event, with a $60 cap. Children 2 years old and younger will be admitted at no cost.
Activities Include:
During the day, you and your family can set up a tent, enjoy a nice picnic, and catch a movie to be screened at dusk. Kids are also encouraged to trick or treat at the various tents set up around the camp.
