Are you ready to take on your fellow Allen residents in a very special race? On Saturday, February 9, the city of Allen will host its annual Duck Derby at the Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium! You can acquire your duck from the natatorium, and take the time before the big race to give it your own creative touches. On the morning of February 9, competitors can gather to pit the ducks against each other as they float on the Lazy River. If you want to flash a bright, confident smile at the winner’s circle of your duck race, you want your teeth to be as healthy and attractive as possible. This year’s Duck Derby competition is being held on Saturday, February 9. The event will run from 10 am until 12 pm.
Where:
The Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium is located at 110 E. Rivercrest, Allen, TX.
Cost:
If you want to compete in the derby race, the cost is $8 to enter, and to join the decorating contest. If you are only interested in the decorating contest, the entrance fee is $5.
Activities Include:
You can decorate your special “racing duck” before sending it down the nataorium’s Lazy River to compete with other ducks. There will be special prizes awarded based on the race, and everyone’s duck decorations!
