On Saturday, May 19, you and your family will be able to do some shopping – and some selling – at Allen’s Community Garage Sale event. During this event, which will be held at the Joe Farmer Recreation Center, families can peruse different selling stations, and keep an eye out for some great finds. If you have a house that may be a little too full of quality items you are ready to let go, you can receive a permit to operate a booth during the sale. While an application fee is necessary for those who want to sell, Allen families who want to shop will be admitted at no cost!
When:
The Allen Community Garage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 19. The event is intended to run from 7 am until 12 pm that day.
Where:
The garage sale is being hosted at Joe Farmer Recreation Center, which is located at 1201 E Bethany Road, Allen, TX.
Cost:
To set up a vendor space at the event, a $20 space reservation fee is required. You can also reserve two spaces for $35, or three spaces for $50. Admission to the event as a shopper is free.
Activities Include:
During the Community Garage Sale, you can look through the different items your neighbors are offering, or you can set up a space and sell items of your own.
