On Friday, May 4, Allen families can enjoy a fun evening outdoors as the city celebrates the opening of Windridge Park! This new park will provide residents with new playground facilities, a covered pavilion, and a basketball hoop, serving as a great new spot for residents to enjoy their days. During the park’s dedication event, the city will be hosting several fun games and activities, and food will be available. While it is intended to give families a new way to be active and outdoors, Windridge will also operate as a creative space. Public art will also be on display, with a mural by San Antonio artist Jon David DeLeon providing a mural for wall bordering the playground.

The dedication for Windridge Park will take place on the evening of Friday, May 4. The events are scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm, and should last until 10 pm that night.
