Allen’s Family Cultural Festival Takes Place June 10

On Saturday, June 10, Allen families can come together at the Allen Public Library for a special event, the Allen Family Cultural Festival. This event was developed as a way of helping local residents support – and learn about – diverse cultural groups. It is also an opportunity for you to take advantage of the courtyard in front of the library, and to officially kick off the city’s Summer Reading Program! Participation in the Family Cultural Festival is open to Allen residents, and you can join in at no cost.

When:

Allen’s Family Cultural Festival will take place on Saturday, June 10. The event will run from 10 am until 11:30 am.

Where:

The event will be taking place in the courtyard of the Allen Public Library, which is located at 300 N. Allen Drive, Allen, TX.

Cost:

There is no cost – families who are interested in partaking in this event are encouraged to come on out! No admission will be charged.

Activities Include:

The Family Cultural Festival brings education and a carnival-like atmosphere to the courtyard of the Allen Public Library. Games, crafts, and other activities will be hosted, and you can check out performances from different cultural groups.
