On Thursday, April 20, the Allen Public Library is proud to welcome award-winning food writer Sharon Hudgins. Hudgins will be discussing the remarkable life and times of Julia Child, still one of the most recognized chefs, who came to prominence in her 60s discussing French cooking. In addition to discussing the facts of Child’s life, Hudgins will share personal anecdotes about meeting her as well. The event is free to attend, and there is no registration required. Children younger than 12 are welcome, but should be accompanied by an adult.

Hudgins will be here to discuss the life of Julia Child on Thursday, April 20. Her performance is scheduled to run from 7 pm until 9 pm.

“Bon Appetit! The Life And Times Of Julia Child” is being held at the Allen Public Library – Civic Auditorium. The building is located at 300 N Allen Drive, Allen, TX.

There is no cost to attend, and no prior registration is required.

Writer Sharon Hudgins will present a talk recounting the life of Julia Child. This will include personal anecdotes from Hudgins about Child, as Hudgins profiled her in 1984 for an interview in “Stars And Stripes.”
